Roof top rainwater harvesting is very useful and time demand method for urban areas because in urban areas due to rapid urbanization which include construction of houses, building, roads and other structures, which minimizes the open earth surface for natural recharging of ground water and so maximum rainwater flow wastefully in urban water drawing channels.
• Water from roof top collect directly into underground tanks or in above underground tanks
• Recharging ground water through existing wells, bore wells or by constructing new well sand bore wells.
• Collection of rain water from urban roof top and channelized it into cities ponds, tanks and lakes prevent it from drain out.
“Water is life's mater and matrix, mother and medium. There is no life without water.” Albert Szent. Unless we take quick action to save water, this ‘elixir of life’ will change to muddy swamps and no longer be there to support human life anymore. We should NOT be saying like the Ancient Mariner of Coleridge- Water, water, everywhere, Not any drop to drink.

I think that rain water should not only be harvested on roof tops, but in every place where it is possible to do so.
